FAQ
Why is this program different than any other Yoga teacher training?
Being brought up in Pune, India, in the authentic tradition of Yoga and now living in Switzerland, and teaching all over the world, Ali Dashti has witnessed a difference between the way he has been taught in India and the way Yoga is thought in west. This difference in teaching is caused by a lack of knowledge, which all schools of Yoga around the world seek to compensate by inviting teachers from India and which explains the great demand of students to learn in India itself. With Patanjali Yoga, Ali Dashti is introducing for the first time a unique syllabus, which unites the wisdom of the east with the traditions of the west, filling all the gaps he had witnessed.
This Teacher Training program is an evolution of training Yoga teachers on an international level for many years. Its focus is on alignment of the Yogāsanas, as well as on the Art of Sequencing. The use of props is systematically acquired and is building the basics of therapeutical knowledge right from the beginning, so that the danger of injuries is avoided. Further it conveys a basic knowledge in philosophy (Yoga Sūtras, Bhagavad Gīta, Hatha Yoga Pradīpikā), anatomy, physiology, methodology and didactics.
This programm's Teacher Trainers are all advanced practitioners and devoted to the Art of Yoga. Their extensive knowledge of Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Therapeutics and the Art of Sequencing is unparalleled.
WHY THIS PROGRAMM?
It is Ali and Kate's intention to spread the teaching which they have benefited from. Being completely immersed in the subject since 1986, they formally take the responsibility of their teaching and give its guarantee on a physical, mental and spiritual level. This makes this program unique.
They currently train teachers in Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Tunisia, USA and India.
